The 41st president was watching nearby, as was the mother of the bride, former First Lady Laura Bush and Barbara's twin sister and maid of honor, Jenna.

The couple had started dating after being set up on a blind date by friends in November.

Barbara Bush and Craig Coyne tied the knot in an extremely private ceremony.

"Happy tears, heart exploding as I watched this attractive girl get married in the place that means love and family".

"I just told her and everybody how much she means to me".

The bride - named after her grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, who passed away earlier this year - married screenwriter Craig Coyne.

The newlyweds will live in New York City, according to the Bush family statement.

The former first daughter is the co-founder and chair of Global Health Corps. Following this experience, graduating from Vanderbilt University and serving as a Page in the U.S. House of Representatives, Craig moved to Los Angeles and acted in a handful of other feature films, such as I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell and Look at Me, and starred in Lonelygirl15, the most watched web series of all time.
