Earl Thomas Flipped Off The Seahawks Bench While Carted Off Injured

  • Earl Thomas has every right to be mad

Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas suffered a leg injury during Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. "So I don't know what happened after that". This was an earth-shattering moment for a kid.

"I don't know anything about that", Carroll said, via ESPN.

"He knew exactly what had happened to him".

Things just got that much more hard for the 1-2 Seahawks, who are locked in a tight affair with the division rival Arizona Cardinals.

"Give him a little slack", Carroll continued. "This is a very, very hard moment that most people would never understand what this is about".

The star defender broke the tibia in the same leg in 2016. Thomas hasn't decided on whether to have surgery, Carroll said.

Though Thomas was not available to the media after the game, it is very likely his time in Seattle, if not the National Football League, is over.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Sunday morning that the Seahawks were looking for two second-round picks in exchange for Thomas.

This is Thomas' last contracted year with the Seahawks. Thomas said upon his return that he determined that he had too much money to lose - $500,000 in weekly game checks - if he were to continue his holdout into the regular season.

Clearly, Thomas is not insisting that his team is "Number 1". He showed athleticism and put the team in position to win.

"Earl wanted an extension and at the end of the day he didn't get that". "I told him that we had him".

It comes after a tumultuous few months between Thomas and the Seahawks.
