Pets are passive creatures that hang out on your back and accompany you on your quest for as many wins as possible.

Fortnite is one of the only games you can play right now that's constantly evolving.

Fortnite Season 6 has finally arrived, bringing an entirely new Battle Pass to grind through, fresh sets of weekly challenges, hidden Battle Stars, and a number of other gameplay-related tweaks and adjustments to the battle royale action.

Once again, the most significant changes in Battle Royale are to the map. And in areas where the cube has been, you'll find new Shadow Stones that make you invisible and allow you to walk through walls. Shadow Form also grants increased movement speed, jump height and immunity to fall damage, as well as the ability to "Phase" through objects in any direction using the primary fire button. Uncover what's in the new Battle Pass, explore an updated island with Pets, and become one with the shadows with a new consumable. For a start, a bunch of weapons and items have been removed.

You don't have to enter battle alone anymore.

The three new pets are a dog, chameleon, and dragon, and you can unlock them in different colors as you level up through the battle pass. Remember, this will give you a free tier in your Battle Pass to snatch it up when you have the chance. We're sure that Epic Games is on the case with figuring out the cause of this issue, and Xbox One players will be able to enjoy the game alongside PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile players sooner rather than later.

So fans who want to keep in the know will need to keep an eye on the Fortnite Twitter account for the latest information.

Season 6 looks like it'll be off with a bang if the new challenges are anything go by! When you're ready, you can download the season six update across all platforms and get stuck into the action!
