Lawyer Michael Avenatti identified his client on Twitter and posted an email to the committee.

Kavanaugh's march toward Senate confirmation has been rocked by allegations of decades-old sexual improprieties from two women.

A spokesman for the Senate Judiciary Committee said lawyers for the panel were reviewing the declaration submitted by Swetnick, who said she has worked extensively for the federal government including the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service.

Mr Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual misconduct by two other women, putting his nomination for the high court at risk.

But the president also vigorously defended Kavanaugh, who's now been accused by three women of sexual misconduct - in all three cases the judge has denied the allegations.

Kavanaugh and his chief accuser Christine Blasey Ford, who says Kavanaugh assaulted her in high school, are set to testify Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Kavanaugh has denied all allegations against him, including those of Ford and Swetnick.

"It's possible I'll hear that and say, 'hey, I'm changing my mind, ' " Trump said of the anticipated testimony.

Swetnick said Kavanaugh's claim of "innocence" and lack of sexual activity in high school was "absolutely false and a lie". According to his accuser, Christine Ford, the incident happened at a house party in 1982, where Kavanaugh allegedly pushed her into a bedroom, groping her and attempting to remove her clothes, keeping his hand over her mouth to keep her from crying for help, all while a friend of Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, watched, amused.

Attorney Avenatti tweeted a sworn testimony from the third accuser Swetnick.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he wished Senate Republicans had moved Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination through the chamber more quickly, saying he would have done so weeks ago if he were running the process.

In her declaration, Adela Gildo-Mazzon said Ford told her about the alleged assault during a June 2013 meal at a restaurant in Mountain View, California, and contacted Ford's attorneys on September 16 to tell them Ford had confided in her five years ago.

In his declaration, Koegler said he met the Fords while coaching their son's baseball team more than five years ago.

Kavanaugh has denied Ford's claim and that of Deborah Ramirez, who has accused the nominee of exposing himself to her without consent during his time at Yale University.

By the end of the press conference, though, Trump had returned to a defense of Kavanaugh and didn't respond to a question about what kind of signal he was sending to young men by possibly dismissing Kavanaugh's behavior. I am here this morning to answer these allegations and to tell the truth.

The White House had no immediate comment.

In his declaration, Ford's husband said he learned of his wife's experience with sexual assault "around the time we got married" but that she didn't share details until a couple's therapy session in 2012.

Wilkinson said: "They announced that there were notes and that there had been a lie detector test" but that those materials were not turned over "even though they were requested". A hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

As a result, the president claimed he may have trouble attracting people to be Supreme Court justices.

Republicans have been hoping to win confirmation for Kavanaugh by early next week. "Is that because of the many allegations that you've had against you over the years", Acosta asked.

Republicans hold a 51-49 advantage in the Senate and can't afford more than one defection to ensure confirmation without Democratic support.
