  • Five things to watch during Bears Packers on Sunday

Sure enough, Rodgers took the field with the offense for their first series.

The Green Bay Packers have not given an official update on the severity of Aaron Rodgers' injury or whether he might be able to return.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to Sunday night's game against the Chicago Bears after an injury scare in the second quarter.

Rodgers left for the locker room riding in the passenger seat of a cart.

Rodgers was hurt in the second quarter against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night after slipping to the turf while under pressure from linebacker Khalil Mack and defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris.

The play that gave the Packers a lead for the first time all game came on a third-and-10 situation.

The quarterback initially tried to get up, then went back down, and was attended to by trainers.

The Packers continued evaluations in the blue medical tent on the sideline for the Bears' entire next possession before bringing the cart out to get Rodgers back to the locker room.

This is the LAST news any fan of the Green Bay Packers - or of attractive, fantastic football - would ever want to hear.

Rodgers, who missed nine games last season because of a broken collarbone, recently signed a record four-year, $134 million extension with $100 million in guarantees.
