I would love to play in the Premier League...

But Klopp has stressed the point that his players haven't been at their best in the opening weeks of the new season, warning any potential title rivals that the Merseyside outfit will only improve as the year progresses.

"I'm very, very confident".

Speaking at his delight at agreeing terms with the Reds, Henderson told the offal: "I'm very happy to have signed a new contract for a long period of time".

Gomez has directly benefited from Lovren's absence and seized his chance to impress, playing every minute in Liverpool's winning start to the campaign.

Gomez and Virgil van Dijk have excelled for Liverpool this season and have all the skills needed to form a star partnership.

"Van Dijk's concentration levels now, he just looks world class. So we do the work now, and this is how it is - it is normal that you are not quite at 100 percent in the games".

"I think Callum is another player we worked with in the Under-21s so we know a lot about Callum".

"There's no better place to do that than at Liverpool with the players that he's got around him and the manager". He's raw, but has out-and-out pace.

"I feel it's been a progressive journey for me throughout my time here and one I've enjoyed so much".

One of these names could catch you out.

. Liverpool can do that now. I'm not so sure about that.

The new contract comes after Henderson turned out for the Reds in impressive fashion over the last few seasons, especially after helping Liverpool reach last season's Champions League final as well as the World Cup semi-finals with England in the summer.

"Obviously I didn't envisage what was going to happen with the goalkeeper, but I have always felt teams were looking to play on Lovren's side, counter-attack on the back of him".
