Chelsea looks to keep its flawless record on Saturday when it welcomes Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge on the fourth matchday of the Premier League.

One of those to shine most under Sarri so far is left-back Marcos Alonso, and he played a prominent part in both Chelsea goals.

Chelsea have recorded four wins from four matches after their 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday and Alonso once again played a key role in Sarri's new system.

Sarri believes there could be even more to come, with the 27-year-old having contributed one goal and two assists to the Chelsea cause in 2018-19. "Although we are disappointed I think it was a decent performance". "He's doing very well in the offensive phase", Sarri explained. "I think he can be a Premier League starter at Chelsea".

"Alvaro is improving. Maybe he needs more space, but I am lucky because, in this situation, Giroud is very useful".

Sarri had warned before the opening game of the league campaign that his side would face a hard start as he attempted to implement a very different approach to that employed by Conte. "They are well organised, they are unsafe in counter-attacks, so the match will be very hard for us, but we want to be in control of the match, and try to gain points", he added.

Speaking to the BBC after the game, Maurizio Sarri reflected: "I'm really very happy with my players". I think it's very hard to recover this gap in only one season.

That near-miss only encouraged Bournemouth who persisted with attempting to hit Chelsea on the break, but the struggle for chances continued as the teams went into the break.

Here are three Hazard stats which give us a clearer indication of how how good he is.

Later in the first half, he allowed Wilson to control and lay the ball off before drifting away from the striker as he moved unmarked into the penalty area.

Chelsea's win masked another hard day for Alvaro Morata, who was largely ineffective before being replaced by Olivier Giroud in the 61st minute.
