Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui is considering dropping his interest in Eden Hazard in order to build his side around Isco instead, according to reports.

Though parting with Willian may not be Maurizio Sarri's intention, if it means that we keep hold of Hazard, it may well be worth it. Reportedly, the Belgian goalkeeper will be available for as low as €35 million since he is in the final year of contract at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard also alluded towards a "preferred destination", which is widely believed to be Real Madrid.

Harzard's teammate and compatriot Thibaut Courtois will have a little move leg-room on the flight to Madrid, however, as he is reportedly finally on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu.

"My experience of English football is limited to understand what we can do this season, we have very young guys who we do not know how they will do, but I know their names will be heard frequently in the coming years".

Chelsea are happy to sanction Courtois' move as long as they can secure a replacement of their own, with Jack Butland looking increasingly likely to fill his gloves at Stamford Bridge.

That's according to ESPN FC pundit Brian McBride.

Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in the England number one following his impressive displays for the Three Lions at this summer's World Cup.

With Red Devils not keen to let go of the prized asset, Madrid switched their attention to Courtouis, who helped Belgium to a third-place finish at 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.
