South Korea's World Cup hopes may just have been dealt another blow after a 2-1 loss to Mexico on Saturday, with their captain Ki Sung-yueng leaving the match on crutches with a leg injury.

MOSCOW - Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard scored two goals each in a dominant Belgium display, leading their team over Tunisia in the highest scoring game of the World Cup.

Sweden and Germany are both on three points with leaders Mexico on six heading into the final group games meaning there is all to play for - including, mathematically, for bottom team South Korea who are without a point.

"Sweden's first goal is my fault, I take the blame", he admitted after the game. The two last met in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, with 16 goals in two matches between the sides.

Sweden could not get out of their own half as Germany piled forward at every opportunity but Mario Gomez contrived to lash the ball over the bar from five yards out.

Man of the Match: While Roos will receive all the glory, Reus helped set the pace for Germany and nixed all of Sweden's momentum with his goal. As it stands, South Korea must beat Germany in their last group match and hope Mexico defeat Sweden to have a chance of progressing.

The holders are left needing to better Sweden's result in the final round of games - against South Korea and Mexico respectively - if they are to go through, while the chances of Germany meeting Brazil in the round of 16 boosted by Mexico's earlier win over South Korea.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook looked on from the stands in the Rostov Arena as part of their three-day visit to Russian Federation, but a second consecutive 1-0 defeat leaves the 2002 semifinalists them on the brink of an early exit from the tournament.

For 90-plus minutes, Germany looked as if it would enter the final match facing the same possible fate as Spain and Italy and potentially become the third straight defending champion to fail to reach the knockout stage.

When the referee blew the final whistle, Toni Kroos fell to his knees and began to punch the ground, knowing that Germany won't be sent packing from the World Cup in Russian Federation without putting up a fight.

There will be even more changes against South Korea.

With a win or draw vs. Sweden, Mexico wins the group and advances to the second round. You can read all about the Group F tiebreakers and chaos scenarios here. Now, the group is wide open.
