The British monarch celebrated her official 92nd birthday with the Trooping the Colour at Whitehall's Horse Guards Parade.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will follow in the footsteps of Harry's parents, Charles and Diana, whose first royal tour as a married couple was also to Australia and New Zealand.

Kate Middleton wore a similar ensemble in pastel blue.

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, did not take part today, in line with his retirement from public life a year ago.

In her first engagement after marrying Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex abandoned her usual fashion-forward outfits for a more prim and proper look.

While earlier reports said the pair would be making a "roadtrip", Country Living UK said the duchess and the Queen will travel 265 kms aboard the royal train to Chester, where they will open a bridge and have lunch. Such was the case during Meghan and Harry's return to Buckingham Palace, when she could be seen trying to keep her hair in some semblance of order.

These facts have led some sources to believe that Meghan may pull out of the trip if she were to fall pregnant before October.

Meghan Markle may officially be a royal now, but she's still taking risks!

Queen Elizabeth recently named Harry as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador and the couple has a busy few months ahead.

"We also loved how her flowing hair was down in majestic curls and we can't ignore the huge smile on her face", Dishaw said.

They made their first official appearance as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Prince Charles' 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration at Buckingham Palace.
