Last night, the Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from this year's playoffs by the Boston Celtics after losing their second-round series 4-1 overall with another defeat in Game 5, but the future still looks very bright for their franchise. Keep in mind this was a Sixers team coming off a 10-win season previous year, and to see them advance as far as they did in the playoffs was truly unbelievable, as Brett Brown knows the future is bright for his team.

"I feel like we had more [to show]".

Sixers' big man Joel Embiid missed a close-range shot that would have tied the game in the closing seconds of Game 5, and while the missed shot may haunt him this offseason, he is still staying positive, even tipping his cap to Boston. We've gotta learn from it. Despite numerous times in which it seemed like the Sixers were going to pull through with the big win, the Celtics still found ways to come back, and as a result will go on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

"We have a rotation we believe in and we have the spirit to move this thing forward and we want to go back to Philadelphia".

After the game, Philadelphia head coach Brett Brown said he wasn't ready to reflect on anything the Sixers might have accomplished during the season.

"I feel like this season was kind of like a success", Embiid said.

The Celtics, meanwhile, got some amazingly clutch performances out of their most promising young talents, particularly Tatum, Brown, and Marcus Smart.

So the Sixers should have plenty of opportunities to improve in the next few offseasons. He went 0-for-8 in such situations over the course of the season, the most without a field goal of any player in the National Basketball Association. Ben Simmons added 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists while teammate Dario Saric had 27 points and 10 rebounds.
