Majority of Americans say Mueller probe is politically motivated

  • Donald Trump Tweets: “There Is No O, It's Called Fighting Back”

Fans of President Trump long have pointed out that FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller has failed so far to produce any evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign in 2016 and Russian Federation, the apparent issue he was supposed to be investigating.

Giuliani's goal is to "throw bombs" into the Mueller probe Trump knew about Stormy Daniels payment months before denial: report Cohen took out lines of credit for as much as 4K during campaign: report MORE's lawyer Rudy Giuliani blasted special counsel Robert MuellerRobert Swan MuellerSasse: US should applaud choice of Mueller to lead Russian Federation probe MORE's investigation into possible collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign on Saturday, deeming the probe a "tremendous distraction" and "totally unjustified".

"The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility", he tweeted.

Trump warned Republicans they "better get tough and smart before it is too late!"

Trump's tweets on Monday could reflect this change in strategy.

Mueller is also examining whether there was any effort to obstruct his investigation.

"The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice...and just wait 'till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest", Trump said in the second tweet.

Trump regularly attacks the ongoing investigation, as he did Monday, and has considered firing Mueller - a looming threat that has divided the Republican Party.

Citing a source familiar with the matter, the Journal noted that "in an informal, four-hour practice session, Mr. Trump's lawyers were only able to walk him through two questions, given the frequent interruptions on national-security matters along with Mr. Trump's loquaciousness". Some members of his team made political contributions to Democrats, including Clinton.

"Lisa Page, who may hold the record for the most Emails in the shortest period of time (to her Lover, Peter S), and attorney Baker, are out at the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of the Probers getting caught?" What a total mess.

The Washington watchdog's lawsuit was filed last fall when the DOJ failed to provide access to "a copy of the budget prepared and submitted by Robert S. Mueller III or his staff in his capacity as appointed..." and "a copy of all guidance memoranda and communications by which the Justice Management Division will review the special counsel's office's "Statement of Expenditures" prior to or for the objective of making each public".

The Rosenstein memo was first disclosed after Manafort claimed that Mueller exceeded the scope of his authority when he indicted Manafort on charges that had nothing to do with the Trump campaign, and were based on alleged activities from years earlier. Page had already left the Mueller team.
