Season 4 of Fortnite has arrived and the long-running mystery of the comet is finally revealing itself. This includes skins, pickaxes, sprays, emotes, and even a new location on the map for users to explore. For Fortnite Season 4, which kicks off today, the comet has made impact and brought with it a whole slew of new content, game enhancements and gameplay changes for both the core game and Battle Royale. Of course, that story came crashing down hard, signaling the proper start of the game's fourth season. While some thought it might be Tilted Towers, it turns on Dusty Depot has been wiped out and replaced by a crater dubbed Dust Divot. Upon consumption, players will "lift off with low gravity". And to the right of Season 4's Battlehawk we see the female variation on that rave gear.

Fortnite season four is here, which means there are brand-new Battle Pass challenges to complete. Dusty Depot as we know it is no more, a new location has been added in the form of Risky Reels, and Hop Rocks allow the player to forgo gravity.

Epic Games have been smart with a slow implementation of clues that all pointed toward a major disaster on the map.

The area is called Hop Rocks, and - fittingly enough - if you go there you'll find some glowing rocks that you can eat up and gain the ability to fly.

With Season 4 underway for Fortnite: Battle Royale players have begun chasing down new challenges to complete their Battle Pass.

There's also the Superhero-themed Season 4 Battle Pass which starts at 950 V-Bucks, Epic's in-game currency (equivalent to roughly $10).

There have also been a number of changes to the user interface, created to make the player experience more seamless.

Fortnite Omega is set to be one of the main Fortnite skins fans will be hoping to unlock from the Fortnite season 4 Battle Pass. This is also the quickest way to earn experience points and rank up to Tier 100. Headshots are now prioritized when other body parts are in the way, a change that affects all weapons save for the Rocket Launcher and Grenade Launcher, and the size of the hitbox for player hands has been slightly reduced.
