It is slated for a 2020 release, and the product - if finalised - could be Apple's long-awaited breakthrough into the AR market.

Now, new reports suggest that Apple might be working on wireless AR and VR headsets. As an added bonus to users, the whole package will reportedly support wireless use, with high-speed wireless connection support now being developed in order to ensure high-quality imagery at all times. The report goes on to state that the headset might be Apple's next big thing as it looks to garner revenue from sources other than the iPhone in a slowing mobile market. Apple's take sounds like it may have a solution for the both the problems that current-generation headsets are marred with. WiGig 2.0, or 802.11ay, is expected to be finalized by 2019, so a 2020 release date fits for the headset. Which is finally making headlines in reality. Augmented Reality lets you explore the real world very well and this is how you can simply explore the best of AR environment. The future machines and robotic science have already begun using the AR based machines.

The headset will also have cameras on the outside that will detect its surroundings.

Just yesterday we highlighted a new patent from Apple for eye-tracking in a VR/AR headset - the latest in a long string of breadcrumbs from the company indicating spatial computing continues to be an area of extreme interest.

The use of an 8k display on each eye and the 5nm processor seems like the hardest part to achieve here.

One of the complaints for high-performance virtual reality headsets is the prevalence of wires, but such a problem will not be present in the T288. In the coming years, the entire technology world will be changed with the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies.

Instead, it would be connected wirelessly to a box housing a powerful Apple-made processor, reports CNET.
