  • Beyonce is set to perform at Coachella on Saturday

Singer and performer Beyonce lit up the crowd at her debut performance at Coachella, a year after she was announced as a headliner. Beyoncé was supposed to headline Coachella in 2017 but had to cancel because she was pregnant with twins, according to CNN. As she ran through hits including "Crazy in Love", "Formation", "Flawless", and "Partition", she also reunited Destiny's Child and brought out sister Solange and husband JAY-Z for added firepower.

Kicking off her performance with a nod to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Bey recruited a band, dancers and a step team consisting of HBCU attendees and/or grads.

After canceling her Coachella set a year ago due to her pregnancy, Beyoncé's performance on Saturday night definitely made up for the long wait.

Director Ava DuVernay was the first to share her appreciation for the Single Ladies singer - flocking to Twitter to share a clip of the 36-year-old mid-performance. The trio of women came together and sang iconic tunes like "Lose My Breath", "Say My Name", and "Soldier". With Beyoncé putting on a stellar two hour set, it seems that Adele lost her chill just like the rest of us. Thankfully, the performance was immortalized by a camera crew, but the truly fans are the ones who were able to experience it live; Rihanna being one of the luckiest of all.

And judging by the reaction on social media, Queen B will definitely be invited back.
