  • Mills was arrested for the murder of her boyfriend Bo Allen

A Virginia lady accused of beheading her boyfriend allegedly shouted throughout her arrest that cops "must take me again and let me get my heads". At first, Mills told cops that she was bloody after cutting her finger, police say, before claiming that someone attacked her and threw her through a glass door.

Deputies found the decapitated body of Bo Allen White, 29, at 500 Clover Lane in Lerona, West Virginia on April 1, 2018.

Roena Cheryl Mills, 41, was arrested last week in Relation to the passing of her boyfriend, Bo White.

While Mills has been charged with second-degree murder, Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney George Sitler explained to MetroNews how that could change based on the grand jury's findings.

According to the authorities, on the day of Mills' arrest, a homeowner called 911 and told the emergency dispatcher that the Virginia woman showed up at her house in an advanced stage of intoxication and refused to leave. Mills was arrested after she gave a false name to an officer, police told the Telegraph, and a subsequent search found narcotics in her possession. Deputies found another body part of the victim's near the home where Mills was discovered, Detective L.L. Addair said in a criminal complaint. The head, however, was located in the woods near where police first picked up Mills.

She was wearing a glove on her left hand, and a matching glove was found in White's bedroom.

It is unclear whether he was killed by the dismemberment, or was already dead when Mills allegedly decapitated him.

'We do not know if he was killed by the beheading or if he expired before that. Employees at the jail told WVNS that Mills talked about killing someone while she was locked up.

Mills is being held at Southern Regional Jail on a $200,000 cash-only bond. "That determination will have to be made by the medical examiner", he said.

A Mercer County Circuit judge placed a gag order on the case Tuesday, meaning details would be withheld from the media because the judge believed Mills needed a competency evaluation.
