PSG concerned over Neymar future

  • Neymar: PSG president to fly to Brazil for crunch talks with star

Will De Gea be celebrating a move to PSG in the summer?

Sergio Busquets had earlier refused to discuss the possibility of Neymar returning to Barcelona after team-mates Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho gave a potential move their support.

"Neymar already has a future at PSG", Neymar Sr said, as quoted by ESPN.

Since making the move to the French capital from Barcelona last summer in a world record £198m transfer, Neymar has been allegedly unsettled by life at PSG.

According to information from Mundo Deportivo, the latter has sent a precise and firm instructions to the PSG chief al-Khelaïfi: keep Neymar at all costs!

Le Parisien stated in October that PSG players were unhappy with the special privileges Neymar receives at the club, and that damaged his relations with a number of his teammates.

Emerging in front of reporters at the institute, both sides seemed keen to quash the speculation.

"He is doing everything possible to return, we hope he will be back to play in the league and the cup this season".

However, journalists were told that they could not ask about the Real Madrid rumours.

The attacker is now at home recovering from foot surgery. "It would be awesome to have him back". I'm not in a position to say exactly when he will come back.

"I am thinking as Rakitic does, I would like to have here the best players and Neymar is one of them", said fellow Brazil global Coutinho, who arrived from Liverpool in January.

The twinkle-toed Brazilian global is now recovering from foot surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the season, although he should be fit for the World Cup in June.

PSG are cruising to the Ligue 1 title with a 14-point cushion between them and second placed AS Monaco, but they were recently knocked off the Champions League by Real Madrid in convincing fashion over two legs.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old is now injured, and continues to undergo his recovery back in Brazil.
