Here's what Jennifer Garner was thinking during the Oscars

  • Lena Dunham Lands New HBO Show With Jennifer Garner Set to Star

"Maybe I should date a fish?" she said, referring to the Guillermo del Toro-directed best picture victor. The first: "Congrats to Shape of Water".

Well, the actress gave some suggestions as to what was on her mind.

In a third post, Garner, 45, suggested she "can't wait to work with Lena Dunham".

Bobby Finger from Jezebel uploaded a clip to Twitter of Garner clapping at the Oscars, and midway through, fear washes over her face and she stops applauding. "Probably realized she left the curling iron on", one Twitter user wrote before another added, "That Michael Keaton was the best Batman".

Well now, thanks to Garner, we have answers. Late on Monday, the actress responded to her popular Oscar meme from Sunday night, in which she was caught in a pensive moment. Garner is the subject of one of Hollywood's most contentious divorces.

Jennifer Garner's sudden freakout while applauding at the 90th Academy Awards has become an instant meme, and luckily it appears that the A-list actress sees the amusing side of the Jennifer Garner epiphany. But as it turns out, she's just as confused as the rest of us! "What exactly IS in my wallet?" another chimed in, paying homage to the mother-of-three's Capital One tagline.

"Hey, Jimmy Kimmel, what's in your wallet?" she said.

Yep, she knows it went viral!

But much to her fans' surprise, Garner took to her social media account to somehow acknowledge her circulating Oscars meme, and she joined a thousand who have told their story using the meme. Realised she was once married to Ben Affleck?
