Saeed said he would dedicate 2018 to "Kashmiris who are struggling for freedom".

The posters were exhibited at Greenline Train, Tezgam Express, Khyber Mail and Jafar Express Train while banners were displayed at all big railway stations including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Noshehra, Lalamusa, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Sakhar, Rohri, Nawabshah, Karachi, Haiderabad, Sibbi and Quetta to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

Referring to the future of South Asia and Kashmir dispute, the Speaker remarked that peace in South Asia will remain elusive when world's so-called largest democracy unleash brute force against the people of Kashmir.

The Pakistani leadership called upon the global community to urge India to respect the Human Rights Charter, put an immediate end to "gross human rights violations" in Kashmir.


"We are proud of our Kashmiri brethren", the prime minister said while addressing the Joint Session of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly and AJK Council in Muzaffarabad on Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed across Pakistan with a pledge to seek a solution to Kashmir dispute according to United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

People of Kashmir are struggling peacefully for the right to self-determination which was promised by the worldwide community.

Thousands of people also joined a rally, carrying the country's flags and portraits of Kashmiri leaders.

Pakistan's prime minister has pledged his government's continued support for the struggle of the people of Kashmir, saying the residents of the divided Himalayan region have rendered great sacrifices in their fight for freedom, which can not be suppressed. He added that the Pakistani government wanted to stop him from raising the Kashmir issue.
