Thibaut Courtois: 'Fans booing does not help Chelsea players'

Players obviously don't like it when they get booed by their own home fans, but as a ticket holder you do have the right to engage this kind of behavior.

Senior figures at the Italian FA (FIGC) want Conte back in charge of the team and sources close to the 48-year-old have confirmed that the national job is now the only one he would go back to in his home country.

"We showed a lot of quality and played well".

Leicester, despite finding themselves 10 men down with just 68 minutes played, held on for a point at Stamford Bridge, but in general it was a game in which the Foxes were dominant.

Even though Chelsea didn't inspire much on Wednesday night against Arsenal they should be able to get the job done against Leicester, while I've also, slightly riskily perhaps, picked out another team who were in League Cup action in midweek.

Some sections of the Stamford Bridge crowd also let out gasps of frustration during the contest when Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas lost possession, which Courtois insists is no help to the players.

The Blues were second best for most of the game and, although they improved in the latter stages when the Foxes had Ben Chilwell sent off, Chelsea could not find the breakthrough.

"During the game I understood many players didn't recover from the game against Arsenal", Conte said on Chelsea TV.

Conte will ring the changes against Norwich in Wednesday's FA Cup tie, with David Luiz set to start after Gary Cahill limped off with a muscular problem.

"I think, today, I saw a lot of players very exhausted". He is happy with his team-mates.

"I think it's a good thing if he continues the season with us".

Meanwhile, Robert Huth has yet to feature for the first team this term, but did play in an under-23 fixture against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in January, indicating that he is nearing full fitness.
