Klopp tells Liverpool to focus on Euro ambitions

  • Henderson to miss Swansea clash

The greatest faults in Liverpool's defence came rushing back to the fore in Friday night's madcap 3-3 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Liverpool goal machine Mohamed Salah is aware of interest from European champions Real Madrid and has instructed his agent to make contact with the Spanish giants, according to a report.

It seems it's either blow out or blow up for Liverpool, who alternate between beating teams by three, four, or even seven goals and then losing the plot and allowing under-performing teams to nick a point away from them.

"As it was and so it will be against Swansea, we have to perform first of all and then we have to see how the other team can react". It was a good feeling to start with a goal in the Premier League and I wanted to do it in the first game.

"[It's] not too cool but I heard nobody else [is injured], a few knocks as it always is, but they should be okay again". We played the better football, created a couple of chances and luckily we've got on level terms.

The forward smashed the ball into the bottom left corner from outside the box in the 77th minute, cancelling out Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic's second-half penalty. If we stay consistent and avoid our mistakes, mistakes like [on Friday], we will win much more games than we lose or draw.

The 25-year-old has taken the Premier League by storm this season, now sitting top of the scoring charts as he leads Liverpool's challenge for the top four.

They have also reached the last 16 of the Champions League, where a two-legged clash with Porto awaits, and are preparing to take on Everton in the FA Cup third round in January.

"Things are up in the air and there will be a lot of thoughts going through the players' minds".
