Hearthstone Kobolds & Catacombs Expansion Set to Release on December 7

The new card is pretty strong, as card advantages are typically important in Hearthstone.

When Kobolds and Catacombs releases for Hearthstone, players can log in afterwards to receive three card packs and a random Legendary Weapon card from the expansion pack for free.

The single player mode Blizzard is introducing is called Dungeon Run. With each victory players will add additional cards to their deck. As a bonus, you'll also receive the For the Hoard! card. Players start with a novice deck from their class of choice and face a series of progressively stronger foes, randomly selected from a huge pool of unique bosses.

Beginning December 7, delve deep into an unexplored underground realm packed with malignant monsters, terrifying traps, and treasures beyond imagination in Hearthstone's newest Expansion: Kobolds & Catacombs! In addition, players can score three more card packs by completing three "sequential one-time Dungeon Run quests". Blizzard announced that players can earn three card packs through Dungeon Runs and three more simply by logging on after "Kobolds and Catacombs" is released.

Given that this is the third full expansion of the year that contains 135 new cards you'd be forgiven for feeling a bit hard-pressed to fork out the €49.99 (~R809) Blizzard is asking for a 50 pack pre-order. Elven Minstrel may also help the Quest Rogue set-which, coincidentally, seems to have gotten a bunch of good cards in Kobolds and Catacombs.
