Benjamin Allbright is reporting that the Broncos have internally chose to go with Paxton Lynch at the position, at least heading into Week 12.

In a move that wasn't all that surprising, the Broncos have chose to go with Paxton Lynch as their starting quarterback for their Week 12 matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

Last year's first-round draft pick is already teetering toward the bust category, but he'll have one last chance to prove John Elway didn't waste a pick when he starts on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

The Broncos have gone through the wringer this season. Unfortunately, the Broncos have seen none of that, with Lynch only throwing 83 National Football League passes, hitting on 59 percent of them.

The move comes after the team fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Monday morning and lost their sixth consecutive game on Sunday.

Lynch completed 59 percent of his passes for 497 yards with two touchdowns against one interception in two and a half games past year. Lynch had just three completions longer than 10 yards.

Now in his second year, the Broncos hope that Lynch makes the leap as a potential franchise quarterback. He completed 59 percent of his passes and finished with a 79.2 quarterback rating.

Lynch will replace Brock Osweiler, who started the team's last three games.

Siemian's shoulder injury was serious enough to sideline him for two weeks, and the Broncos continued with Lynch against the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars. He averaged 5.99 yards per attempt and amassed two touchdowns and an interception to go with a 1-1 record. But, I talked to the trainers and the coaches, and like I said, they've done a good job so far and I feel great.
