Rose McGowan, one of the initial actresses to call out Harvey Weinstein for his sexual assault practices, is now facing an arrest warrant for alleged drug possession.

"She arrived in Washington, D.C.at Dulles airport on a flight on January 20, 2017 and she left behind a personal item that was later picked up and reported to our police department by our employees". Police say the items tested positive for narcotics. Apparently, The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the order on February 1, and have been trying to get in contact with the industry vet for some time. Eek.

"Are they trying to silence me?"

Nearly as soon as the news broke, the actress took to Twitter to describe the allegations as "horseshit" and said that this was an attempt to silence her.

On Friday McGowan gave a rousing speech at the Women's Convention in Detroit, Michigan where she talked about her rape allegation against Weinstein and the ensuing fallout of the scandal. At the time, the Charmed star did not elaborate on why the warrant had been issued or what crime she had been accused of.

It's unclear as to when McGowan learned of the warrant, but on Monday she tweeted about it. "There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia", McGowan tweeted Monday afternoon. "What a load of HORSES-T", she wrote.

She's also used her Twitter account to encourage others to speak up and come forward about their experiences with sexual assault and harassment. I have been slut-shamed. "I have been harassed", McGowan said.

Weinstein is being investigated by Los Angeles and NY police over a myriad of sexual harassment and assault allegations.

"I have been silenced for 20 years. I will support you always #RoseArmy".
