After getting an earth-shattering opening, the Telugu film has managed to retain good viewership on its second day.

Yesterday, another trade analyst Ramesh Bala had tweeted, "Outside Telugu States, #JaiLavaKusa has opened well in #Chennai, #Bengaluru and #Mumbai yesterday". Jai Lava Kusa Box Office Collections are in full swing in United States of America and India. The first day collection of the movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana stood at a gross of Rs 32.1 crores. This is Jr NTR's fifth film to join the million dollar club. The movie Jai Lava Kusa has also joined the NTR's hit list. Of success and failure, Junior NTR told news agency PTI: "Success is important but only at a later stage of my life, I realised that personal satisfaction is essential". "We have hardly made films revolving around the relationship between brothers".

The Junior NTR's film has earned about Rs 3.2 crore from other parts of India and rest of the world. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for this flick with Chota K Naidu cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it. Featuring Raashi Khanna and Niveda Thomas in prominent roles, the Telugu offering became on of the highest opener cinema of the year. Back then it was rumoured that the prosthetic artist who has worked for "Lord in the Rings" would be working on a shocking look for the actor, but now, one can see that no such look has been used in the movie.
