Marotta is very talented on the market, so if he is interested in a goalkeeper, we are here.

Raiola has been heavily criticised for his role in the Donnarumma saga even though it was ultimately the 18-year-old who made the final decision, and so it has led to this potentially tense stand off.

He told Corriere dello Sport: "If Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid and they want Donnarumma, then we're ready to talk to President Florentino Perez".

"For clubs it's increasingly hard to handle these situations", he told Corriere della Sera.

Raiola has received much of the criticism, accused of turning Donnarumma's head away from Milan for his own financial gain, but he was typically unapologetic following his announcement that the player would be leaving. It's clear that Juve have the right to examine every opportunity.

Donnarumma's agent is Mino Raiola, who has close connections with United having sealed Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's and Henrikh Mkhitaryan's moves to Old Trafford last summer.

The forward has subsequently been linked with a move to a number of European clubs and Mirabelli has joked that AC Milan would be happy to engage in transfer discussions with Real over a possible deal for Ronaldo.

"We made him an enormous offer considering his age and the burden it would place on Milan".

"We were taken by surprise, as we had confidently hoped Donnarumma would be the goalkeeper taking Milan into the future that we could build the team around".

"It is a definitive decision, made by the player".

"We trust that we can do our best".

Milan CEO Marco Fassone revealed Donnarumma's decision to leave the club earlier this week.
